Throw the map away, part Ii

Created by Geoff one year ago

I can corroborate Tom’s story concerning Nick’s disdain for maps. Not in the glorious Italian mountains, but a damp November afternoon in Tewin woods, Hertfordshire: few paths, lots of trees and no map.  Not to worry, Nick was positive he knew a way out.  As darkness fell we (Nick, Sue, me, my wife-also Sue) were coaxing our respective children plus a couple of mud-encumbered pushchairs through the gloom. We did eventually find our way back to the cars, thanks only to the same good luck that got Nick and Tom back to their their Italian base.
